Sales meetings with clients are a very
important part of marketing the Dollars Want Me packages. The prospect of
meeting a client for the first time face to face may be a very daunting prospect
especially if you do not have a lot of experience in the sales sector.
Unfortunately many people choose to hide
behind a computer and try to sell products via email, Skype or Facebook,
because they are not comfortable with meeting clients. While these can be great
tools to have, you can’t beat face to face meetings with potential clients.
Meeting clients on a one to one basis will
help you to really get to know them, understand what they want and ultimately
make it easier for them to understand the product you are selling and be
encouraged to buy it.
With the digital world being the way that
it is these days, the art of conversation becoming lost and the art of sales is
going with it!
We guarantee that the personal touch will
help you to achieve more sales than just being a robot behind a screen. It’s a
fact that people buy from people, so when you meet for coffee and clients can
put a face to a name they can get to know the real you and be more likely to
buy what you are selling!
So here at Dollars Want Me, we want to
provide you with a list of Do’s and Don’ts to get you started on sales meetings
and hopefully make you feel more confident when going to meet potential
clients!
Sales
Meeting Do’s -
Demonstrate your product – Show your
clients the Dollars Want Me website, the back office, videos, show them the
products you are selling in detail and give them a guide on how they use the
system when they are signed up.
Have good product knowledge - Make sure
that you know everything there is to know about the product you are selling, so
that if the client asks any questions, you can reply without hesitation.
Have a specific goal – Always go into a
meeting with one specific goal, whether it is to get a yes to all products, one
particular product or simply to build a better relationship for future sales.
Have a written agenda – This is important
particularly if it is your first sales meeting, a written agenda will help you
to remember to ask all the right questions and keep you on track throughout the
meeting
Remember customer names – There is nothing
more embarrassing or guaranteed to lose you a sale than forgetting a customer
name!
Listen – Make sure that you are listening
to everything that your client is saying, be present and in the moment. We
spend far too much time getting distracted by technology, so focus on what is
being said, otherwise you may miss the key to sealing your sale!
Sales
Meeting Don’ts
Don’t arrive late – Not only does this make
the meeting run late, but it looks unprofessional and will harm your chances of
making a sale to the person you are meeting.
Don’t give a sales pitch – A pushy sales
pitch could make a customer turn and walk away in an instant. They know that
you have something to sell and you have given them the information prior to the
meeting, so instead ask questions to determine their needs before you pitch.
Don’t be too friendly – Get the balance
right, this is a business meeting after all!
Don’t discuss anything inappropriate – you have
heard of the saying never discuss politics or religion with friends? Well the
same applies to a sales meeting. Keep the conversation light and airy and focussed
on the reason you are there.
Don’t dress too casual or formal – Use your
own initiative when it comes to what you should wear, obviously too casual is a
no, no, but maybe a suit will put a barrier between you and your prospect?
Sales meetings are very important to your
affiliate marketing career and in order to get the sales you want and attract
the dollars you desire, they are necessary!
So what are you waiting for? Now that you
are armed with our tips, you can book your client meetings and start attracting
dollars to you!
Go for it!
