How grateful are you?



Have you ever thought about what you are grateful for in your life? I am not talking about all the material things you may have that you are grateful for, I mean everything and anything you are able to do, be, enjoy, and experience?

It’s actually quite a difficult thing to do, however if we can get into the habit of being grateful, it will actually make a huge difference to our lives. Much like affirmations, when you get into the habit of being thankful for the positive things in your life, you will automatically begin to think much more positively.

Gratitude is essential to a happy life, without gratitude we can never be truly happy as we are not aware of all the wonderful things that are around us and that we enjoy on a daily basis.
So I have a challenge for you!

This weekend write your gratitude list!

Find a quiet spot, grab a pen and paper and start writing a list of everything you are grateful for, include everything even the small things that you never really think about….

Here are a few hints: On my list I have things like - being able to wake up in the morning and getting out of bed, seeing where I need to go and being able to make coffee…. Get the idea??

I guarantee that once you start to do this and keep adding to the list on a daily basis, your attitude towards life will change dramatically, altering your thinking and making you much happier!

Are you a morning person?



It has to be said that I love mornings and I get up early, start the day with a long dog walk and begin my work, I am very productive in the mornings, so it is always a good idea for me to get the most important things first!

Unfortunately not everyone is like this and the vast majority of people actually really struggle to get up and going in the mornings. It might be that you just love your bed, lack motivation in the morning or maybe you are a little bit down and need to make some changes in your life in order to start enjoying all of the day again.

Do you wake up feeling tired?           
              
Do you lack motivation?

Do you wake up negative?

Is your first thought about the day negative or positive?

It can be really tough to turn this pattern around if it has been going on for a long time, and often we don’t even notice that this has even happened to us until it has been a long time or it is actually pointed out to us. There are so many ways that you can start to turn this around, and the best way to start is by keeping it simple. Making grand plans for the mornings and changing your routines will not help you to make the changes for the long term and will often only last a little while until you get fed up with them again and end up back at square one!

Affirmations are a great way to start to change this pattern and change your thinking for the better, affirmations are a very gentle way to start with this change that you know you need to make as they are simple little sentences that you can repeat every morning to make you start to feel more positive and motivated.

Pick a few from the list below and try saying them in the mornings for the next week and let us know how you get on, and how things have changed.

  1. I am feeling healthy and strong today
  2. I am feeling motivated to do ***** today
  3. I have all that I need to make this a great day
  4. I have everything I require to make my day successful
  5. I will make the right choices all day using my inner wisdom
  6. I am happy with my life
  7. I have everything I need in my life
  8. I am filled with gratitude for this new day, and am ready to enjoy every minute of  it
  9. I have all the knowledge I need to make today a success
  10. I am going to enjoy and be happy with my day today

Don’t expect instant results, these are not magic spells! However they will help you to begin thinking in a different way than what you would normally when you wake up.

Thoughts are Living Things



I have just returned from a very interesting weekend in the Spanish mountains, where I go every now and then for a weekend of self-discovery, reflection, meditation and relaxation.

This is something that I need to do to make sure that my thinking is still on track and that my life is still going in the direction it should be. I can only really think about these things in detail once I have the chance to stop working and on the rare occasions that everyday life doesn’t get in the way.

As always on this weekend, I met a group of lovely people, made some amazing connections with them and was blessed to be a part of some people’s first chapter of self-discovery.

The wonderful people that run this retreat are always talking about thinking and how our thoughts can change the course of our days/weeks/years and ultimately our entire lives, and it was here that I first learned that thoughts are living things!

What does this mean? It means that we give power to every thought in our minds and the more we give the thought power, the more likely it is to become our reality. We have complete control over our thoughts and we are the only ones who can control whether our thoughts are positive, negative, helpful or unhelpful in our lives.

I have said before that we all need to try to catch our first thought as this thought is usually useless to us, however it is this thought that can trigger all related thoughts which can be fairly destructive to our lives.

I realized this weekend that it is possible for anyone to change their thoughts if they have the courage to do so, I met some people this weekend that really didn’t have anywhere left to turn and life seemed to them like a pointless uphill struggle. However by Sunday when we were all saying goodbye, the difference in these people, in their attitudes, the way they looked was amazing, and all this stemmed from them learning about thoughts and how to change them!

Our thoughts really do determine our reality and here at the Prosperity community, you too can learn how to change your thoughts in order to change your life, including of course your financial life!

How can you attract wealth instead of debt?



Here at The Prosperity Community we are all about wealth, we want to help make all of our members as prosperous and successful as they want to be!

We are here to give help and information and help members to understand and learn new ways of thinking so that they can finally attract everything that they want in life. Sound too good to be true? Well it’s not, although in order for you to attract everything that you want, you will need to do a little bit of work.

Well this is what we will be working on with you! In order to attract wealth instead of debt, you need to change your thought patterns, and simply put start to change your thinking from negative into positive! Positivity is key when it comes to attracting what you want into your life….. As are these 5 things below!

1. Change your words: If you are always saying things like “I’m broke” or “I’m in debt up to my eyeballs” this will always be the truth and how your life will continue to be. By simply changing these words to “I always get what I need” and “I have plenty of money in my bank” You will start to change your mind set and your life will automatically change based on your thoughts! Try it out with your affirmations that we provide with the packages!

2. Stop believing money is so important! Many of us that are in debt and struggling for money, tend to believe that money is the most important thing in the world! We even put it before our personal relationships at times. This gives money the power, which is bad! Take that power back to change the effect money has on your thoughts and life!

3. Spend to receive! Believing that you need to spend your money to receive more is a difficult one we know, however if you lose the fear of spending and realise that that is what it’s there for you will soon find that spending becomes easier. Let go of guilt and fear, when you send negativity to the universe, that’s exactly what you get back!

How do you deal with unexpected change?



We have spoken previously about change and how you know when it is time to make changes, however there are certain times in our lives when change is not within our control….

Things can change around us without a single ounce of input from us and sometimes that can be the scariest form of change, as the power is taken out of our hands altogether. Most of us like to be in control of the things that happen to us on a daily basis but as we all know sometimes it just isn’t possible!

So when change happens to us instead of us making the changes we have to find a way to deal with it and have a plan to cope without letting it affect us emotionally.

Easier said than done right? Well here are 10 tips that will help you to deal with change when it happens unexpectedly:

Acceptance – Simply noticed that you are in the midst of change and instead of fighting against it, simply accept the situation you are in.

Face and embrace your feelings – You are going to have feelings and emotions about the changes that are happening, and it’s good to feel them and embrace the way you feel.

Work out whether to accept or reject the change – Although mostly we are to accept change as it happens, there are certain times that we should reject it for our own good. You will know which reaction you should adopt by your instincts…. Always trust them!

Develop Gratitude – Even though you probably don’t feel like it, gratitude should still be a big part of your life, even at difficult periods of change. So try to adopt an attitude of gratitude as it will make you feel much better about your situation.

Relax – Try not to worry constantly about the changes, relax a little more and you will find that you will eventually feel better about what is happening.

Don’t be afraid – Although change is scary, there is no need to be afraid of new people or situations, after all change is what keeps us and the rest of the world moving

Be positive – Positivity is key in any situation that is alien to you, so try to keep positive and things will start to feel much better!

Be Bold – Don’t be afraid, in fact be the complete opposite! Embrace the change and grab it with both hands, seize the change that is coming your way and make it work for you!

Take a deep breath – Don’t panic! The change will soon feel as if it never happened!

You can adapt to anything – Although you might not believe me, you can actually adapt to any situation you are thrown into… so just go with the flow.

Change that happens without our say so can be worrying, scary and stressful, but as humans we are incredibly good at accepting and utilizing change, so when you are in this situation, instead of running away, try to grab every opportunity and make the most of it!

The Importance of Sharing Life Experiences



Now, I live on my own with my 2 dogs and my cat, and as this lifestyle is a recent development for me, it is taking a little bit of adjustment. There are certain things that I don’t think I have ever done before, such as changing light bulbs…. Sounds silly right but its true!

Another thing that I noticed/realized the other day was that there is no longer anyone around to talk to about things that happen during my day…. I noticed this the other day when after struck by genius I found a new way to do something in the house! But there was nobody to share this experience with! Ok it wasn’t ground breaking in any way and actually involved me cleaning a rug! So not terribly exciting to anyone else…

I actually had to wait for someone to call me so that I could share my extreme excitement about my new discovery! This gave me a very odd feeling, as I realized that many of us are so used to just having someone there to share experiences with that it automatically becomes a part of our lives… And when it disappears it can be a little upsetting, and lonely!

It is important that we share life experiences with others whether they are good or bad as this is a part of what makes life fun and interesting. Sharing stories and experiences dates back to the beginning of time and is extremely important for a human’s capability to communicate with one another not to mention it gives people an insight into who we really are and allows us to get to know another person on an intimate level.

This ability to share experiences and knowledge is no different when it comes to business, and although there are many cut-throat business owners out there who think that they should keep all the knowledge to themselves and all the money for that matter…. We disagree here at the Prosperity Community!

We actively encourage our members to spread the word about our life changing products and want them to attract more people in order for everyone to benefit from the success of the program! Without our passionate members we would be nothing, and our continued success is thanks to all of you who have been championing us with word of mouth marketing or any other way you have chosen to get the word out there!

What does “Prosperity” Mean to you?



As we are about to embark on a new phase and become “The Prosperity Community”, I thought it might be appropriate to talk about the word prosperity…

So what does the word prosperity mean? It can actually mean different things to different people, some people view it as a financial status, others emotional….

It can of course be viewed as both, as often being prosperous financially, allows us to become more emotionally stable, happy, carefree and positive!

Of course it can also work the other way round too, as positivity is key to making ourselves both happy and prosperous!

The official dictionary definition of prosperous is as follows:

“The adjective prosperous often describes a person or a person's future, but it can apply to anything that's experiencing growth and success. Prosperous derives from the Latin word prosperus, meaning “doing well.” Great pronouns of this happy word include golden, well-heeled, flourishing, and thriving.”


So you could say it’s all about interpretation, and like everything in life we all have our own personal views on what words and sayings mean to us.
  • It could mean that you have all the money in the world and more, with not enough time to spend it!
  • It could mean that you are happy, satisfied and grateful for what you have and you no longer have money worries in your life
  • It could mean that you are in a place where you are positive and grateful and are able to attract everything that you want in life to you.
