This weekend, find a quiet space away from the family and begin to read and to the activity for day one.

Remember it is important to do one section per day, do not do more than one…. This will just confuse matters and cause you unnecessary stress!

Affirmations for care givers


Over the last year I have been witness to a situation that has become increasingly difficult for a member of my family.

As I live in another country and cannot be around all the time, I have tried to visit as often as possible and also offered support and skyped regularly to help this person out with their situation.

The issue at hand is mental illness, specifically anxiety… Mental illness is a very difficult type of illness, you can’t see it, there is no specific recovery time (if at all) and it is very hard to cope with for the person who has to live with the affected person every day.

This family member, who is now for all intents and purposes the primary care giver, is not at all comfortable with the idea of mental illness and unfortunately comes from a generation where this sort of thing was ignored, or avoided at all costs. It was usually something that was hidden within the family or the person would even be put into an institution!

When someone comes from such an era as this, it is unlikely that they will be in any way prepared to deal with this sort of illness, nor will they have the tools to be able to cope on a day to day basis.
Recently my family member went to a support group, she thought that she may be able to get the support she needed from people that understood her. Unfortunately this was not the case and most people there, didn’t have the same problems she did! Unfortunately in the UK it is very difficult to find these sorts of groups, and although they have come a long way with support groups, they still do not cater for the carers of mentally ill patients properly.

So…. I it got me thinking about what it is that she may be able to do, to help her to get through the toughest times of the week, day or even hour sometimes!


Of course I realised that affirmations and positivity would definitely be a good start, so I suggested several affirmations that she may want to try out for a week and see if that changed the way she felt in any way.

  • I am appreciated
  • I am in control
  • I love myself therefore when I make a mistake I forgive myself
  • I am thankful to still have ______ in my life
  • I love ________ therefore, every day I am learning new ways of looking at his/her behaviours
  • I am not afraid to ask for help
  • I love myself, therefore I treat myself to _______
  • I accept that there will be bad days and that I can cope with them
  • I can cope with anything that is thrown at me

Being a carer is a thankless job, and at times it can just be so overwhelming that it doesn’t feel like there is a point to it anymore. Positive self-talk and self-care can actually alter the way that people think and feel in general, helping them to navigate through the bad times in order to enjoy the good, and also recognise the good easier.

Once these short and sweet sentences become a part of a daily routine, the sense of well-being and accomplishment will be increased! And care-givers will have the energy to go on, know when to take a break and be able to deal with life as a carer more calmly and happily.

My family member is seeing some benefits from these affirmations already, and although a complete non-believer in this type of self-help, she really is giving it a go to see what changes can be made in her life.

How we Use Money

Today I want to talk about a very important part of the Dollars Want Me Book….. “Business and your inner power”, which if you are familiar with, will probably resonate with you quite deeply. I want to talk about how we use money, how we treat it and how we attract more to us.
First of all I want to share an experience with you that proves that everything that the book says is absolutely correct, and should prove to you beyond doubt that the book is the way forward for everyone in the world who wants financial freedom, and freedom from financial insecurities.
This weekend I went for a meal with one of my very good friends, we actually had pizza, while enjoying the pizza’s we had ordered, a homeless lady approached our table and started asking for money.
Now I used to live in London and my family background was not the most generous when it came to strangers, so I am ashamed to say that I instantly told my friend not to give this lady any money. I didn’t trust her, I thought that she was lying, that she was not really homeless and that she was just after money.
When my friend told her she couldn’t find her purse, she looked furious! She then asked for some food…. (As my Spanish is still utterly shocking after 5 years of living here, I didn’t understand what she had said) My friend let her walk away and then told me what she had said. My friend feeling bad, walked over to her and gave her a slice of her pizza. This woman’s face was a picture, she was so utterly grateful for that slice of pizza it made me instantly take a step back and look at my behavior at the table.
At this point two other young girls walked over to this lady and gave her some of their pizza too, which she accepted gratefully and ate pretty quickly! Watching this lady made me extremely emotional and forced me to consider how she felt, how awful it must be to have to accept food from a stranger’s plate, and how she just wanted to be able to feed her family.
I was so overwhelmed at this point and quite ashamed of myself that I felt compelled to give her money. So once she had finished her pizza, and was walking around the other tables asking for money, I took €10 from my purse and put it into her hand. The look in her eyes as she took this money from me was one that I had never seen before, the gratitude and relief really did blow me away, as she walked off I caught other people looking at me as if I was mad, but she was so happy she went off and waved to us as she left to buy food for her family.
My judgment was wrong, I assumed that she was lying, I assumed that she would go and spend money on drink or drugs….. But who am I to judge? Who am I to assume that she was lying? Maybe she was and maybe she wasn’t, all I know is that I felt good after handing that money over, and I know it will not make a shred of difference to my finances, but could actually make all the difference to her life, even if only for one day!!
Strangely enough after this event, I actually began to attract more money to me all weekend, I met a friend of a friend who insisted on taking us out for lunch and dinner and paying for everything! Which made me think of a particular part of the book…
“Every dollar that comes to you must be used for a noble cause. The money will want to be with you, since it will have value through you. When you use the money for a purpose, you are inviting the money and it will show up. Your heart and brain will give your money its purpose in the world.”
“Money is useless if you are merely stockpiling it. In order to multiply your cash, it must be spent. Spend as though you are flush and use it for a good purpose. Send your dollars out with blessings and they will return to bless you.”

It’s Time! Write your Personal Affirmation



If you have completed the Dollars Want Me EBook, and 7 day guide you will be getting ready to create your affirmations. And if you haven’t thought about it yet maybe this weekend is the perfect time to start!

As you will know in the member’s area we have a fantastic tool to help you to create your affirmation and provide a printable card so that you can carry your affirmation around with you wherever you go. This is a great little tool for all members of the Prosperity Community, and if you haven’t looked at it yet, go and take a look now!

Are you not sure what your affirmation should say? Not sure how to write it?

Let us help you, as you know in the book we have several affirmations that are free for you to use if you want to, but we believe that writing your own personal affirmation will help you to affirm the specific thigs you want in your life.

So here’s how to start:

·         Really think about what it is that you want in your life.
·         Always write affirmations in the present tense, if you write them in the future that is where they will always stay.
·         Always make affirmations positive, avoid any negativity at all, we are going to banish the negativity from your life in order to attract all the positive things you want.

Once you have the basics of your affirmation, grab some paper and a pen and start writing it down, and don’t worry if you don’t get it right the first time, it is important to practice so that you can get it exactly right.

If you need a little help, here are a few examples to get you started:
·         I can afford whatever I desire.
·         I am financially free. “Dollars want me.”
·         Prosperity comes easily to me now.

If you notice from these examples, all of them are in the present and all are positive…. So during this weekend, take a little quiet time away from everyone and make your personal affirmation. Once you have your affirmation, carry it around with you in your wallet and say it regularly for 1 week.

Remember to use your card as a reminder to say your affirmation throughout the day, and we guarantee that you will feel differently after just 1 week!

Is your Attitude Really Affecting your Financial Status?



Now here is a question that most of us don’t really consider very often, if in fact at all… I would bet that most of you assume that your financial status really only depends on the type of job you have, how much you get paid, how much you spend and how much you save?

Well this actually isn’t true, how much money you make, and how rich or how poor you are really comes down to attitude!

Consider this….

When you are in a negative place, do things go right for you? Do you have a good day or a bad day, do you think that when you are negative you will find the best paid job, be able to save etc. etc.?

How about when you are feeling positive? Do you seem do better in your job, make more sales, more money etc.? Do you seem to be able to manage your budget better?

It’s true that when we are positive we give of completely different vibes and can connect with the vibrations of the universe that will create more positivity! Remember your thoughts manifest into things and you attract what you feel and think…

There is a real difference between how the rich and the poor think, check out the lists below and answer honestly which statement resembles the way you think most accurately:

How is your financial status? Has this made you realise how negative your thinking is? Maybe it’s time to try and make a change to be more positive, after all we all want to be in a good financial position, and the best way to get on the road to prosperity is by positivity!

Overcome Fear of Confrontation with Affirmations



Confrontation is a part of life, and as much as we would like to avoid it, there are certain times when we really should just get on and deal with it. Avoiding confrontation will often make any situation worse than it needs to be, as people quite often start to feel awkward and the lack of communication will create a block between individuals.

When I say confrontation, I don’t mean fighting and arguing with people, in fact confrontation and dealing with issues is the best way to avoid arguments and fights with the people we care about. It’s all about communication, and although for many people confrontation creates fear in many people, there are times when we need to learn to get rid of that fear and deal with situations head on.
  • Do you have an issue with a co-worker that you know you should really deal with?
  • Is there a problem involving a friend that is making your relationship difficult?
  • Do you think that you can’t handle confrontation?
  • Do you need to speak to a family member about a delicate subject?

If you are not experiencing any of these situations right now, it is my guess that you either have experienced them or you are very likely to at some point in the future.

So how do you diminish the fear and learn to cope with confrontation, and not just cope with it, but get to the point where you can do it without thinking? Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could deal with any situation that arises in your life without the stress and fear you currently have?

Well you can…. How? With affirmations of course! Affirmations will help you to deal with confrontation in a constructive manner, and will teach you that you no longer need to always put your needs second to everyone else’s.

People buy from people so be a human, instead of a faceless computer!

3. Use Images – Images are excellent for getting people’s attention, so research and find out what your followers are into and combine that with your industry to create, interesting and engaging shareable images!

4. Be consistent – It is very important to stay active and consistent on social media, as you will quickly fall off of people’s radars if you do not show up in their news feed often enough. I do not mean that you should be posting every minute of the day, but figure out what works for you, and decide on the frequency and the times your posts will reach your audience.

Time for a Summer Holiday!



It’s that time of the year we have all been waiting for! The days are long and the sun is shining (or it might be depending on what country you are in!) More importantly it’s holiday time! The kids are off and you are ready to get away from it all and try to relax for a couple of weeks.

I don’t know about you, but I was definitely more than ready for my recent holiday and feel that I got a lot out of it. When we are working constantly, it is sometimes very hard to have any downtime, even at the weekends as there is always something going on.

When this happens, we lose momentum, inspiration fades and our brains get generally worn out. It is at this point that we need to take a break, and although this sounds like a daunting prospect for anyone who owns a business, or is at least heavily involved in one, I can promise you it’s not! Let me explain….

You see, when I say take a holiday, I mean that you need to get out of the old routine, take some time for yourself and your family and generally relax. You will find that once you begin to wind down, your mind will start to come back to life, and inspiration will start to reappear.

I know as much as anyone else that it is almost impossible to completely forget about business while away, and this is fine, allow the ideas and inspiration to flow while you are relaxed. You will find that you have some pretty good ideas that you can follow up, thanks to your relaxed state of mind!

In fact as an affiliate marketer with The Prosperity Community, you may even be able to pass the message on while you are away, after all word of mouth is the best form of marketing there is. While on holiday you are in completely new territory, and it is likely that you will get talking to many different people while you are away, so take the opportunity to network a little bit!

People are generally more relaxed and much more open to new opportunities, so while you are talking and getting to know people, why not give you’re networking skills a workout to see if you can get those all-important 3 members for the program!

Why Teamwork Achieves More



Here at The Prosperity Community, teamwork is very important to the success of each and every member. Without team work, the system just wouldn’t flow and none of our members would earn as much as they could.

By helping another person to become a member, showing them the system, helping them to join in with webinars, you are helping them to make money from the system, which in turn benefits each and every member.

Having a team attitude helps in all aspects of life and business, and it helps everyone to achieve more than if they were on their own. So it’s all about creating a winning team, creating the right attitude within that team and getting them on the path to success together!
It is important that each and every person in a team is on the same page and have the same common goals in mind.

So how do you create a happy, and successful team? Here are some ideas!

Create an engaging and relaxed atmosphere – Allow every team member to have their say, express their opinions and contribute to each decision that is made in the team.

Focus on relationships – Good interpersonal relationships between members is crucial to a winning team. Trust and respect are vital for good communication between team members.

Communicate – Communicate with the team constantly, it is important that everyone knows what is happening and the progress of each member

Positivity – Create a positive atmosphere, help each team member with the EBook and learning how to change their thinking. After all the first steps when joining the Prosperity Community is to complete the EBook, 7 day guide, and get to grips with affirmations.

Never forget the end goal – Never forget what you are working towards! Every team member must always keep the end goal in mind.

Help your team – If you have signed up 3 people to the system, it is your responsibility to help them to understand and work it so that they will benefit.

Remember, all you need to do is sign up 3 people! Once you have signed them up, the more you help them to use the system and encourage them to get involved the more it will benefit every member!

Use Positive Thoughts to Counteract Negative People



Unfortunately we all come across a certain amount of negativity in our lives, and if we are truly positive people this is quite annoying as it can interfere with our peace and contentment. I usually try to avoid negative people as it affects the way I feel and never in a good way. I am a naturally positive person, and anyone that meets me, comments about how happy I look and how friendly I am.

It has not always been like this for me, it took a lot of hard work and determination for me to get to this point of peace and tranquillity. I too was once an extremely negative person, and thought that life was just supposed to be a white knuckle ride, that we all just have to get through!  This attitude was partly down to my upbringing and partly down to the life choices I had made, which were not good ones and left me feeling empty and down, leading to complete negativity.

Having worked so hard to get to the place I am in now, I find it very irritating when someone wants to bring unrest into my life. Unfortunately I am somewhat of an empath, so I am very good at feeling what those who are closest to me feel, and I have to recognise this before it goes too far and I end up in the same negative place that they are in!  

For me it’s all about awareness, being aware of my feelings and thoughts at all times and also being aware of what other people are doing around me is key to me keeping my serenity. Without my serenity my life is not very enjoyable let me tell you! I had an incident recently that has had a big effect on my feelings and peace, and I still do not feel as peaceful as I would have done before this incident, however I also know that as long as I am aware I can change the way I feel back to positive!

You may be wondering ….. How do you change it once you are aware?

Simple…. Positive thinking and affirmations! When something breaks your peace and serenity, it is important to go back to basics! You will be able to turn everything back around if you just revert to all you learned in the first place!

Positive Think Your Way Out Of Work Stress



We have all been there, a tough day turns into a tough week and before you know it you are feeling s certain amount of stress and strain that doesn’t seem to be lifting anymore. You feel like you are carrying it with you wherever you go, and that there is a constant black cloud hanging over your head.

Even times out with friends, walking or doing the things you usually enjoy and are usually grateful for have stopped mattering to you, and in fact do not have any impact on your moods anymore!
Are you worried that you are never going to be happy again? Concerned that you will need to change careers to get out of this mind-set?

Worry not! There is no need for such drastic action, in fact work stress is not the catalyst anymore, although it may have been the trigger for the way that you are feeling right now, it was just that… the trigger.

When something makes us feel bad and we keep dwelling on it instead of fixing it, our thinking gets confused and changes to negative. It is very easy to end up feeling this way by reverting back to old thinking, as we all know, thoughts become things, so you are essentially creating your own depressing reality by allowing yourself to keep on this destructive though path.

Remember “This too shall pass” But not without a little bit of work from you! You need to change your thoughts! Once you have altered your thinking back to positive, you will soon see that life will become lighter and easier again, and you will lose that black cloud you have!

You can use 3 simple steps to start to change your thinking:

Awareness – Becoming aware of your thoughts is key to changing them, try catching your first thought and change it into a positive one

Rational Thinking – Analyse your thoughts and decide whether they are rational or not, if they are not then you need to get rid of them, only keep rational thoughts that serve you at the time in your head. Don’t waste time on pointless thoughts!

Keep it simple – Don’t over think your thoughts, or over analyse the reasons you are having them, this will just confuse you and make life even more difficult.

Just know that you are the keeper if your thoughts, you and you alone have the power to change the way you think, the way you feel and the path your life takes!

So if you have had a particularly stressful week, try and take time to relax this weekend and gently try to change your thinking so that you can start to feel better and look forward to a whole new week next week!

Affirmations for Times of Grief



We all know the feeling of sadness and grief only too well, however even though many of us have experienced these feelings more than once before in our lives, doesn’t meant that it makes it any easier.

Greif can come in many forms, I am not just referring to the death of a loved one, but also the heartbreak at the end of a relationship, the loss of a friend, who has gone away to another country or who you have simply lost contact with.

Grief is a very strong emotion and it can take over our minds and hearts if we let it, allowing all those negative thoughts to come back in and threaten everything we have learned about positivity and life.

I know that if you are in the midst of a sad time and are grieving something or someone, this is the last thing you want to read about, but it is probably the most important thing you will learn at this time.

We all know that our thoughts will manifest, and this manifestation will be either positive or negative, depending on what your prominent thoughts are. It is hard to find positivity within when you are going through such a sad time, but trying to find positive things out of negative situations will help you to cope and get through this time in your life.

It is actually healing to replace a negative thought with a positive one, and a good way to do this is to use affirmations. This is easy because you already have your affirmation ready written for you to recite when you feel the negative thoughts creep in.


Here are some examples of affirmations you may want to use to help you through your journey of grief or sadness.
